French Gernalist Mr. Rene Minosa at Sikles Village

Mr. Rene Minosa, a French
gernalist has visited Sikles village with
Mr. Birkha Raj Gurung, chairman of Sikles
Films P. Ltd.
|
|
|
|
|
Mr.
Minosa was welcomed by Sikles Youth Club, Group
of mothers& fathers of Sikles village. Mr.
Minosa along with the members of his group were
welcomed by Khada with tika. The Sikles Youth
Club had performed various cultural programs
to entertain them at that time such as theater,
Dohori songs were sung by group of mothers and
fathers. |

Mr. Minosa has been helping to Maya
Gurung inhabitant of Ward No:- 7,
Sikles, Kaski, Nepal. She has been
getting financial aid from him about
Rs. 22,500 (Twenty Two Thousand
& Five Hundred Nepalese Rupese).
With this amount she has been getting
stiching training. |

(CMA) Scholarship : |

|
| Sikles
is one of the remote villages in Nepal where people
are suffering from receiving quality health services.
Health worker deputed by the Government is hardly
present in the village. SDCG feels that if some of
the young people are provided training and work in
the village then local people would get effective
and quality primary health services. Considering this
fact, we looked for possible funds for providing training
to local people. In this regard, Sikles people are
quite lucky that we met Rene Minosa
from France who is really motivated
to provide Community Medical Auxiliary (CMA)
training to a young female from Sikles village. She
is awarded 15 months long CMA course scholarship.

logistic supports etc. Once she completes the course
she will be working in the village for two years on
